LEAH SERENA

A compassionate, holistic approach to psychological and emotional wellness

I received a master's degree in clinical psychology from Antioch University

and trained at Maple Counselling Center and Teen Line -

both renowned community-based service organizations.

After a year-long associateship under the supervision of Dr. Leanne Miller,

and an intensive study of Gabor Mate's Compassionate Inquiry,

I also incorporate learnings from Insight LA's Mindful Self-Compassion course

based on the work of Kristen Neff and Chris Germer into work with clients.

I have a background in the commercial arts and particular interest in depth psychology and somatic experience.  As I received a bachelor's of arts in philosophy from the University of Florida,

I view therapy as experiential philosophy -

a live practice of evolving and creating meaning in life.

My work is psychodynamic and compassionately client-centered.

I am currently seeing private practice clients virtually in Los Angeles, California.
